Ekin-Su has revealed she had a panic attack during Casa Amor and medics had to step in

‘The medics were like, Ekin it’s fine, just relax, what’s meant to be will be’

During an interview today, Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su has revealed she had a “mini panic attack” during Casa Amor, and medics had to step in to calm her down.

Casa Amor is the dramatic twist in the show every year, and constantly we see contestants worrying about if their partners will stay loyal whilst away from one another.

Speaking about her experience of this part of the show, Ekin-Su said on Lorraine: “In Casa Amor, obviously there was a moment… I don’t know… I’m gonna say this, medics came, I was having a mini panic attack because I was like, ‘oh no what’s Davide doing in Casa Amor? Is he with someone else? And the medics were like, ‘Ekin it’s fine, just relax, what’s meant to be will be’. And you know, it all worked.”

Host of the show, Christine Lampard, had said she felt as though some Islanders forgot the cameras are rolling during Casa Amor, to which Ekin-Su replied: “I know, because they’re so hidden these cameras. You don’t know where they are, you can’t pretend or act on there. If you were to act, it would happen for two days and then your mask would fall off! Then you’re yourself!”

Later in the chat, Ekin-Su revealed she and Davide are planning to move in together. “We are thinking perhaps end of September we’re thinking to possibly move into Essex, where I’m from,” she said. “Davide’s not been to Essex and I feel like it’s so nice because it’s near London, it’s easy to travel to, bit of countryside but then also a bit of that edginess to it as well.”

They truly are living their best lives.
