Hang on, what’s the beef between Tana Mongeau and Addison Rae’s dad?

Addison Rae’s name has been tied to a number of controversies over the last month. Mainly, though, her dad’s.

Several women have alleged Monty Lopez made advances on them while reportedly still married, with one 25-year-old claiming a full-blown affair. Just when you thought the hype had started to die down, YouTube star Tana Mongeau has spoken out with some claims of her own.

So, why is Tana Mongeau “feuding” with Monty Lopez? And what does this have to do with Addison Rae?

Early July: TikTokers claim Lopez supposedly hit on them

Content creator @uhdunk1ns posted a TikTok on 5th July. The video seemingly took place at a club, while a young woman is saying to her friend: “Addison Rae’s dad is trying to fuck me right now, I swear to god.” The clip then cuts to Monty Lopez chatting to the woman, while touching her bum.

On the same day, TikToker @iamjessk leaked a video of herself FaceTiming Lopez, capturing him saying he wants to “screenshot you.”

Monty Lopez has not responded to the allegations as of writing this.

8th July: Addison’s family clarifies the pair separated a while ago

Lopez and his ex-partner, Sheri Nicole Easterling, have been separated since before the allegations, a source told PEOPLE.

“They’ve been separated for a year,” they said. “Sheri and the boys have been living in Louisiana.” Addison Rae has two brothers, aged 14 and eight.

11th July: A 25-year-old alleges she had an affair with Lopez

Renée Ash claimed she had an affair with Monty Lopez under false pretences – with him allegedly saying he’d divorced Sheri, and planned on having children with Renée.

“He told me that we were going to be together and have babies together”, she told Page Six. “He even introduced me to his mum, his youngest brother and I thought we had something real. He told me a story of his marriage that convinced me that they were apart and in the process of getting a divorce.”

Lopez and Easterling never responded to the allegations.

8th August: Lopez begins feud with Tana Mongeau

On 8th August, Tana Mongeau leaked texts exchanged with Lopez, claiming she’d “held back” on her side of the story until he “decided he wanted to beef.”

In TikTok comments, Lopez told Tana to “take a bath” and made fun of her “body count,” so she posted a video of her own.

“I’ve seen him put so many things up his nose at several teenage events,” she said. “I actually remember having to back (him) off a couple of my friends… inside of houses… in bedrooms… because they were scared.”

9th August: Addison Rae unfollows her parents on Instagram

According to the TikTok Room, Addison unfollowed both her mum and dad on Instagram amid Tana Mongeau’s allegations.

Monty Lopez did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
