Millie Court addresses rumours Liam Reardon was responsible for their breakup

Love Island winner Millie Grace Court has addressed online rumours Liam Reardon is responsible for their breakup after one year together.

Earlier this week the couple announced they were no longer together on Instagram and earlier today Millie shared another statement on her Instagram Story thanking her followers for their support and saying the last thing she wants is for Liam to be trolled for untrue rumours.

She said: “I’d also like to ask you guys to please not believe everything you have read in the press or seen on social media.

“Last thing I want is people to say nasty things about Liam or put the blame on him, or vice versa, it wouldn’t have ended on a good note like it did if anything had happened.

“Going through a break up is hard enough as it is, let alone when people are spreading nasty rumours that are simply not true.

Millie went onto say she had been taking some time away from her phone but would now be returning to posting for her job.

She said: “I know I have been quiet for a couple of days but I needed time to digest, and also stay off my phone and clear my mind.

“However the majority of my job is based online and I love my job so much I truly do. I’ll continue posting as normal but again please be mindful of what you are commenting.”

Liam reshared Millie’s Story on his own but has not commented further.

Earlier this week the pair shared a joint statement on their Instagrams saying they had broken up after a year together, following their meeting and eventual win on Love Island last year.
