Is Beyoncé’s new album coming TONIGHT?! A very serious investigation

B7 might be here by the weekend and I’m simply not ready

Try not to freak out – but I think Beyoncé might be releasing new music this weekend.

If you’re as terminally on Twitter as I am, you’ll undoubtedly have seen her name trending literally every single day. Usually, it isn’t for anything in particular. She’s clearly just an icon. But overnight, #beyonceisBACK began making the rounds after the star deleted all her profile pictures.

The new era might *finally* be here after years of waiting – here’s every single crumb of evidence we have:

Beyoncé’s deleted all her profile pics – clearly indicating a new era

Right, hear me out. The Beyhive might be worried Beyoncé is teasing us with a new Ivy Park drop, diet plan or unrelated project, but she only ever fully deletes her profile pictures at the dawn of a new era.

The last time she did this was in 2016. In the space of just 48 hours, Beyoncé deleted her branding, released Formation and announced a fifth world tour. Be scared. It looks like we’re in for a wild weekend.

She randomly posted a new Instagram pic after three months

She’s been radio silent since March, so why did Beyoncé choose now to post a new picture?

Aside from, like, EVERYTHING ABOUT HER, this photo looks pretty normal. But, she posted an unremarkable pic of herself with a lemon before the last era, so y’know.

There could be a number of hidden clues within this image – she’s wearing red lipstick, standing against a red background and there are red flowers on her dress. What does this mean????

It’s been SIX WHOLE YEARS since Lemonade

Beyoncé usually waits a three-year gap before releasing new music. From Dangerously in Love in 2003 to Lemonade in 2016, she famously likes to spend a year off before getting back to the studio.

Obviously, she’s been really busy the last six years – but this double-wait must be significant in some way. Will the album have twice as many songs? Is this a retirement album? WHO KNOWS.

She hasn’t performed live in ages

Obviously, because she’s been holed up in her home studio working unsociable hours. Or, maybe we’re about to get an album AND a tour. Think about it.

Oh… and there’s literally a page on her website for B7

There may not be anything on it – but it exists.
