Liam Love Island 2022

Look out for Liam Llewellyn, Master’s student swapping South Wales for the Love Island villa

He says his mum would describe him as ‘a little sh*t’

Check your phone, girlies, because we’ve all got a bloody text! Love Island is BACK. Tonight, people! The excitement is so palpable you can taste it in the breeze – forget the Platty Jubes, this is the real cause for a four day celebration. The cast is announced, and everyone’s already eyeing up their early faves. One of those is. Liam Llewellyn – a 22-year-old masters student from South Wales who’s swapping student life for the villa. Here’s everything you need to know about “little sh*t” Liam before we spend all summer with him for Love Island 2022!

He’s a student at Cardiff Met

Liam Llewellyn is a masters student at Cardiff Metropolitan University – where he’s studying strength and conditioning. He graduated from the same university in 2020, and has continued to study there for his MSc.

He wasn’t studying music – because he said he thought Elton John “was two blokes” for years because he heard it as “Elt and John, like Ant and Dec.”

He says he’s bringing positive energy to the villa

When asked what he’s going to be bringing to the fire pit table for Love Island 2022, Liam said the following: “I’ll bring good energy, I’m good company to be around and I’m smiley. I’ll definitely bring some positive energy.”

He’s only ever been on ‘one or two’ dates!

Despite being, well, very fit, Liam says he’s only been on a few dates. He had a serious relationship that lasted three years until November 2021 and says since then he’s been having “a little dabble here and there.” Whatever that means! He also admitted that his last relationship ended because there was cheating involved. “There may have been a little bit of cheating. It was only the once and I regret it now. I was young but I’m different now, I’ve learnt from that. It wasn’t nice making someone feel that way. It has changed me, though, and I wouldn’t do that to somebody again.”

People are saying he could be the next Jake Cornish because he ‘appreciates a good foot’

Yelp. The shame Jake Cornish brought to the foot community of which I am a card holding member of knows no bounds, but maybe our Liam Llewellyn is here to do us justice. Liam said he “can appreciate a good foot, but I haven’t got a foot fetish. There’s a difference!”

Liam has shared his turn ons and flirting techniques that he’s going to be cracking on with in the villa

Liam said his flirting technique goes a little like this: “The thing that girls quite like is that I’m not just like, ‘You’re mint.’ I’m like, ‘Your eyes are piercing, I’m lost in your eyes.’ “Or I’ll say something like, ‘You’ve got nice feet’ or something.”

His biggest turn on is when a girl kisses his ear, he says his best feature is his smile. He’s also shared that his biggest red flag is neediness and that for 22 years he’s misspelt his own middle name. It’s going to be a long summer!

So far, Liam has 14.5k followers on Instagram. You can follow him here, @liamllew_.
