Marriage or Mortgage is a trashy TV heaven, and does exactly what it says on the tin. The 10-episode series follows young couples who have to choose if they want their dream home or the wedding of their dreams, because these days you know you can’t afford to have both. The engaged couples are introduced to wedding planner Sarah Miller and real estate agent Nichole Holmes. Each of the women can make one of their wildest dreams come true – but not both. The women battle it out, showing the couples why they should invest in what they sell – either marriage or a mortgage.

If you love the weddings element of Love Is Blind, then Say I Do is going to be right up your street. The series is from the creators of Queer Eye, and sees eight couples who haven’t had a chance to make it down the aisle get help planning proposals and their weddings. If you love Queer Eye’s Fab Five, you’re about love the Say I Do trio of experts –  interior designer Jeremiah Brent, fashion designer Thai Nguyen and chef Gabriele Bertaccini. The weddings are all surprises and everything from the proposal to walking down the aisle all happens in one week.

The Ultimatum

via Netflix

The Ultimatum was teased at the end of Love Is Blind, and it should be straight on your watch list. Like Love Is Blind, the series is hosted by Vanessa and Nick Lachey, is from the same creators, and it shows couples being pushed to their max. The premise is pretty chaotic – giving couples eight weeks to decide if they want to get married, or just move on from one another with someone else from the show. During the eight weeks, the couples each choose a new potential partner from a different couple and then move in with that person for three weeks. They are given the potentially life-changing glimpse of what life could look like apart from their current partner. The show drops on Netflix on April 6th.
