Love Is Blind star Shake has gone official with a new girlfriend since the show

Love Is Blind star Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee has gone officially with a new girlfriend, a month after season two of the show aired. He got engaged to Deepti on the show, but their relationship broke down and caused her to reject him at the altar.

Throughout the show, he had shown little signs of really understanding what a “blind” relationship was. He was slated for saying he wanted a woman he could put on his shoulders at a festival, asking the dates about their weight, and he was accused of making comments about Deepti’s appearance. All of this came to light in the Love Is Blind reunion, when host Vanessa Lachey ripped into him, and he admitted a show called “Love Is Blurry” would have been better for him, and Vanessa was the only woman in the room he fancied.

And now, he’s really proven he learned nothing from the show, because he has a new girlfriend who is an absolutely stunning blonde. Nothing against her, I’m sure she’s lovely, but she is exactly the type of girl he described on the show as being the type he always dated and has never had things work out with. He literally said he always goes for typically pretty, slim, white, blonde girls.

His new girlfriend is called Emily, and he made the relationship official in a series of photos of them together. “Good things come to those who w̶a̶i̶t̶ don’t settle ❤️”, the caption reads. Shake has turned off comments on the post, however a previous picture with Emily in has comments such as “Love is Blond” and “Oh look a tiny blonde to put on your shoulders at the music fest”. Another added: “Bro she’s the one. Blonde and shoulderable.” Yikes.

Season two of Love Is Blind was filmed last year, so it could have been some time ago when Shake started seeing his new girlfriend. He has also previously said he’s using the phrase “Love Is Blurry” and is launching a podcast under that name. He told The Tab the new podcast will cover “controversial topics that won’t be politically correct but all through a lens of radical honesty.”

“I’ve learned a lot during this entire process and am looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned,” he told The Tab. “We have a team in place that is excited to help make sure my story and those who have ended up on my side of reality TV have an opportunity to share more about themselves. People are dimensional and I think it is important to start talking about that.”

He added: “This isn’t a show about being politically correct – its about calling a spade a spade. We will have controversial guests. We will make people think for themselves. We will make people challenge what the media and popular opinion has brainwashed them into thinking. This is not a show for the weak of heart.”

Shake’s new relationship news comes as Shaina has also announced she has moved on, and is now engaged again since the show aired.
