Shake has finally apologised for everything he said behind Deepti’s back on Love Is Blind

Just about a week ago, Shake publicly stated he was not sorry for how he handled his relationship with Deepti on Love Is Blind. But since then he’s clearly seen the light as he’s apologised to Deepti and taken accountability for his harsh words.

During their time together as a couple on Love Is Blind season two, Shake made several remarks about Deepti behind her back. At times he said he wasn’t physically attracted to her and even made connections between Deepti and his aunt. He also claimed his title of being the seasons biggest villain through his horrendous dating technique in the pods. He consistently made comments on women’s bodies despite not even being able to see them. Shake asked Deepti whether he would be able to life her on his shoulders at a music festival – a big red flag.

Yesterday he posted this video on Instagram with the caption: “I’m sorry, Deepti. I’m ready to take accountability for my actions and be better. While I’ve reached out privately, I think it’s also important I apologise publicly for the sake of your family and friends that I have upset as well.”

In the video itself Shake says: “I want to take this opportunity to really just say sorry to a woman that I know I hurt. Deepti, I am truly sorry for some of the things that I said, things that honestly could have just been left unsaid, that could have been said differently, things that never should have been on national television. During the time we were filming, you were my best friend and even though I knew our relationship wasn’t going to end in marriage I didn’t want what we had to end. I loved every second of it and I am so so sorry that I hurt you with my words. It’s the last thing I wanted from all of this. I’m sorry Deepti.”

One of the top comments on Shake’s video says: “I bet your mom made you apologise” and another says “Deepti and Kyle are drinking margaritas together right now – too little, too late.” The latter is actually a fair comment given all of the major signs we see right now pointing towards Kyle and Deepti dating.
