A second Love Is Blind season two couple say we didn’t see them get engaged in the pods

Yesterday, it was announced Joey and Caitlin from season two of Love Is Blind got engaged in the pods but we never saw it – and now Jason and Kara have revealed they did too! The couple have said they weren’t featured on the show, but their love and relationship was still “authentic” and they have updated us on where they are now.

Jason and Kara were introduced in the first episode as being part of the latest cast but, similarly to Joey and Caitlin, none of their dates were shown on-screen. 31-year-old Jason is a flight attendant and said he went on Love Is Blind as it “is the perfect way to find genuine love”. Kara is 32 and works as a client service manager, when she was asked why she went on the show, she said: “It’s hard to find a soulmate in the dating world. Maybe this will give me a chance.”

And it looks like they did find love, albeit for a short time, as they have since broken off their engagement. In an Instagram post, Jason shared some cute snaps of them together and said Kara is “one of the most charismatic, loving and supportive people I’ve ever met”. He said he got goosebumps when he saw her and proposed on the red carpet of Love Is Blind and their love was “authentic” and the experience was “rewarding and meaningful”.

“What a week it’s been since the release of @loveisblindnetflix S2,” the post reads. “There’s been a lot of excitement over the first five episodes, and I’m so excited to watch the rest of it unfold. I’d like to say thank you to everyone who’s reached out in support of my time on the show, I truly do appreciate everyone’s kind words. There have been a lot of people asking me why I had no luck in the pods…

“SURPRISE! Kara Williams and I walked out of the pods an engaged couple as well! Kara has been one of the most charismatic, loving and supportive people I’ve ever met, she is hands down one of the strongest women I’ve ever been around. Getting to see her on the red carpet was without a doubt the best feeling I’ve ever had in my entire life, it gives me goosebumps just thinking about how beautiful she looked. This entire experience was such an emotional rollercoaster for both of us, but at the end of the day we always found a way to make each other laugh. Unfortunately, we have since parted ways, but that will never take away the feelings and love I had for her throughout this process. Although our relationship was not featured, it was still authentic.”

He continued: “Kara and I had conversations in 10 days that had never even come up in my previous long term relationships. I remember the first two days of dating these amazing women in the pods, I was so nervous, and afraid to be vulnerable. Kara found a way to knock that wall down for me and be myself which became the turning point for me in this entire experiment.

“Being a part of Love Is Blind has been the most rewarding and meaningful experience I’ve ever had. Regardless to how it may come across to all viewers, I’m beyond grateful for everyone that’s been apart of my journey and can’t wait to watch my close friends continue to grow on theirs”.

Last season there were two engagements we didn’t see in the pods, and Jason and Kara complete the two Love Is Blind season two proposals we missed out on as well. Now all we have to see is how the other couples get on down the aisle. 👀
