Where is the ‘I want your daddy too’ TikTok audio actually from?

Captain von Trapp would get it

TikTok is full of incredibly thirsty people. Whether it’s lusting over Harry Styles tour videos or watching Tom Holland act like a total simp for Zendaya, my For You Page is filled with horny individuals. And the latest addition to this thirst trend is people salivating over male actors, characters and musicians who are dads by using a new viral audio.

If you haven’t heard the audio yet it goes a little something like this “I want my daddy. I want your daddy too”. The first half of the audio is said in a young’s child voice and the second in a deep masculine voice.

People use the audio and stitch it together with a picture of a child whilst the “I want my daddy” part is playing and then cut to pictures of their celebrity crush who is a dad whilst the second half of the audio “I want your daddy too” plays. For example one viral TikTok shared pictures of the kids from the Sound of Music and then cuts to calling Captain von Trapp a “daddy” and sharing pictures of him looking incredibly fine.

People have also used the trend to share their lust for Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum and Cillian Murphy.

So where does the ‘I want your daddy too’ TikTok audio come from?

The original audio was first posted on TikTok at the end of 2021 on the TikTok account “artvsmovies” and has since been used in over 80,000 videos.

The audio was actually a clip from the 2015 Marvel movie Ant-Man. The clip is taken from a scene in which Paul Rudd’s character Ant-Man’s daughter Cassie has been kidnapped by the villain Yellowjacket.

In the clip Cassie, played by Abby Ryder Fortson, says she wants her daddy. Yellowjacket, played by Corey Stoll, says he also wants her daddy. In the context of the movie he’s saying it as he wants to kill Ant-Man.

However people on TikTok have taken the quotes and turned them into a lust based desire rather than murder, which is much healthier for everyone.
