These are officially the unis with the cheapest and most expensive pints

No prizes for guessing that London unis don’t fare well


Pints. Pints. Pints. The three most important aspects of your weekly budget. But unfortunately they can be damn pricey.

Pint prices differ from uni to uni and now, thanks to new data from NatWest, we can reveal the universities with the highest and lowest median pint prices.

Shock: Pints at London unis are going to set you back the most. At City, Goldsmiths and the University of the Arts London, students pay £6 per pint on average.

Here’s a full breakdown of the unis with the most expensive average pint prices:

At the other end of the table is Leeds Trinity University, where students pay on average £2 a pint. I didn’t know Leeds Trinity was a uni but I don’t care. I’m applying to go there right now.

There’s a whole host of unis where students pay on average £3 per pint. They include Durham University, the University of Sheffield and the University of Birmingham.
