Ranked: The Too Hot To Handle season two cast who gained the most Insta followers

Let’s get one thing straight: The season two cast of Too Hot To Handle on Netflix have gained a hell of a lot of Instagram followers from being on the show. And tbh, if this is how many followers you gain for not having sex for a few weeks (or even still having a lot of sex in some cases), seriously where do I sign up?

We watched them in that gorgeous Caribbean villa over two weeks of episode drops, became obsessed with their horny ways and now clearly want to continue watching them reap up the rewards from the success of the series.

We took how many followers each of the season two cast members had on the day the retreat lineup was announced (June 15th) and compared it to now. Here are the cast members of season two of Too Hot To Handle, ranked by how many Instagram followers they gained from being on the show.

10. Larissa Trownson – 217k followers – gained 201.1k

Larissa is the least followed of the original Too Hot To Handle season two cast members. She now has 217k followers, and before she went on the show had 15.9k, meaning she has gained just over 200k Instagram followers.

9. Nathan Webb – 299k followers – gained 272.1k

British stripper Nathan had 26.9k followers before he went on the show. Whilst people have been tuning in, 272.1k people decided they wanted to see more of him (same tbh) and now he has 299k followers.

8. Kayla Carter – 312k followers – gained 289.8k

Kayla may have dipped out of the series very early, but she’s still gained over a quarter of a million followers. Not to bad for just a few days in a bikini in the Caribbean not doing, or even really saying, anything. She started out with 22.2k and now has 312k followers.

7. Peter Vigilante – 449k followers – gained 367.4k

Peter wasn’t in the series for long, so it’s not a surprise that he isn’t too high up on the list. However, since the show he has announced he’s now in a relationship with Melinda (yes, really!!!) so he might see his follower count rise when people want their fix of keeping up with them two. Peter had 81.6k followers on the day the cast was announced, and now has 449k – meaning he has gained 367.4k.

6. Chase DeMoor – 532k followers – gained 491.7k

Footballer Chase didn’t have much luck in the retreat, but you could blame that on karma acting extremely quickly with him. The closest he got to a girlfriend was the cockroach that landed on his head. Iconic. However, he has gained over 491k Instagram followers, which is pretty impressive. He had 40.3k before the show, and has 532k followers now.

5. Marvin Anthony – 947k followers – gained 705k

Marvin might have more followers than some of those above him in this ranking, but he started out with 242k followers before the retreat had even began!! Marvin had already been on French Love Island, which might explain his big social media following, but he’s gained way more from the Netflix show. His following now sits at a healthy 947k – an increase of 705k.

4. Melinda Melrose – 800k followers – gained 758.8k

Melinda carried the show for a lot of it – you can’t deny. So her gaining hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers is the least she deserves. She started out with 41.2k and now has 800k, meaning she’s gained 758.8k.

3. Carly Lawrence – 980k followers – gained 971.6k

Carly actually had the lowest amount of followers out of all the cast before Too Hot To Handle, with 8.4k. She is now the third most followed person from this season as she has gained 971.6k followers and now has 980k.

2. Cam Holmes – 1.3million followers – gained 1.29million

Cam was one of the most popular boys, and actually left in a couple, so it’s no surprise he has gained over a million followers. He now has 1.3million, after starting out with 8.5k.

1. Emily Miller – 1.5million followers – gained 1.49million

Emily Miller not only came out of Too Hot To Handle as one half of the nation’s latest power couple, she’s also bagged over 1.49million followers on Instagram, making her now the most followed season two cast member. Before she was on the show she had 10k followers, now she has 1.5million. Yep, that’s the power of a Netflix show.

Follower counts were correct at time of publication but are still changing.
