Meet all the girls who are rumoured to be in the Love Island 2021 cast
From fire-breathers to influencers and models
The start date for Love Island 2021 is getting so close we can almost touch it. And as always, the list of people thought to be taking part in the show is coming in thick and fast. So far there have been five girls rumoured to be contestants on Love Island 2021.
From a fire-breather, to influencers and a Premiership footballer’s ex, this year there have been a whole host of different types of people who have been reported to be future Islanders.
So ahead of the big official cast announcement, which should be any day soon, here are all the girls who are rumoured to be contestants on Love Island 2021.
21-year-old Alexis Bailey was the first girl rumoured to be one of the Love Island 2021 contestants. She is a fire-eater and aerial dancer, and a Miss Manchester runner-up. She has reportedly just left a long-term relationship, but is looking for love on the show. She also previously worked with Wayne Lineker in Ibiza.
A source told the Sun: “She loves sex and is always talking about it. She’s very open about it but is incredibly likeable and loves to party. There are no limits as far as she is concerned and she very much wears her heart on her sleeve. It’s fair to say she will bring some heat to the villa.”
Aimee-Rose Frances in 29, a graduate from King’s and an influencer. She studied Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at King’s College London, graduating with a 2:1 in 2014 and now owns her own jewellery brand.
A source told The Sun: “Producers are nearly there with their cast and Aimee is top of their list. She’s incredibly well-educated, has bags of personality and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. She could have walked straight off reality show Made In Chelsea. Bosses think she’ll be a great addition.”
Alisha is 28-years-old, from Essex and based in London. She currently works as an influencer and has 159k followers on Instagram, having worked with brands such as PrettyLittleThing, ASOS and Boohoo.
Last year, it seemed that Alisha LeMay was confirmed for winter Love Island as a bombshell, but she never ended up making it into the villa. At the time, a source told Mail Online ITV2 bosses believe her “fun-loving personality and large fan base” were the perfect mix for the show.
As well as being previously rumoured for the show, it looks like Alisha LeMay might have built up a few Love Island cast connections as well. Kaz Crossley, Francesca Allen, Ellie Brown, Kady McDermott, Olivia Attwood, India Reynolds and Belle Hassan all comment on her photos. Plus, Alisha is best friends with The Only Way is Essex star, Pete Wicks.
20-year-old Lucy Plunkett is from north Dublin and works as a small business owner, with her own clothing label, and is also a stylist and Instagram influencer. Lucy already has more than 12,000 followers on Instagram, which is where she was reportedly approached to take part in Love Island.
One of her friends spilled all the gossip, saying that Lucy will definitely bring some drama to the villa. They said: “Lucy is looking for a man who is loyal and isn’t too controlling. She’s very much a free spirit who beats to her own drum. I expect her to be herself. She sometimes may come across as mean or a bitch due to her honest nature but she is a girl’s girl and is a sweetheart once you get to know her. But if someone crosses her she won’t have a problem speaking her mind. She can be problematic.”
21-year-old Lucinda Strafford reportedly signed up for Love Island after her Premiership footballer boyfriend cheated on her. She is the ex-girlfriend of Brighton & Hove Albion winger Aaron Connolly, who the Sun reported as being filmed cheating on Lucinda with a girl and breaking lockdown restrictions to do so. The pair split up in the days following and now he’s apparently “begged” her not to go on Love Island.
She doesn’t seem too phased though, and is said to be going on the show after she was made redundant from her job as an air stewardess at British Airways, and also as a platform to plug her clothing range. Lucinda owns The Luxe Range boutique, a small brand which she models a lot on her Instagram page.
A source confirmed to the Sun: “She’s going in [the villa] to plug her business. She wants fame and money – she’s always wanted to be a celebrity. She’s trying to become an influencer, she wants to do it for her business. Aaron’s really upset and really annoyed about it. They were together for two years and then broke up.”
