Meet Aimee-Rose Francis, King’s grad who’s rumoured to be on Love Island this year

She’s an influencer with 80k followers

Love Island bosses are rumoured to be signing King’s grad Aimee-Rose Francis for this year’s cast.

On her website the 29-year-old influencer, who lives in Chelsea, says she has “a passion for long lunches and champagne cocktails”.

A source told The Sun: “Producers are nearly there with their cast and Aimee is top of their list.

“She’s incredibly well-educated, has bags of personality and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself.

“She could have walked straight off reality show Made In Chelsea. Bosses think she’ll be a great addition.”

Aimee-Rose has over 84k Instagram followers and owns a jewellery brand.

She studied Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at King’s College London, graduating with a 2:1 in 2014.

Her Insta page shows her in Chelsea and other boujee places around London.

Like many other influencers Aimee-Rose was in Dubai in November, and before lockdown her Insta page shows her living a jet-set life, on holidays in places like the Maldives and Mallorca.

Aimee-Rose joins other several other Love Island contestants rumoured so far this year, including an NHS doctor, a “Chelsea party boy”, a fire eater and a pro-boxer.

The cast is set to be more diverse than ever, with the show accepting applications from LGBTQ+ contestants.

This year’s series will be Love Island’s seventh – and it’s said to be “bigger than ever”. Hundreds of thousands of people have applied to take part in the show, which is said to be returning to Majorca.

ITV is also reported to have a back-up villa in Jersey, just in case restrictions prohibit filming in Majorca as planned.

The series is starting in late June, and will go on for eight weeks throughout July and August – it’s going to be a long, hot summer.

Love Island 2021 will air on ITV2 in June. For all the latest Love Island gossip, news, rumours and memes, make sure you like The Holy Church of Love Island on Facebook.
