Daphne is played by English actress Phoebe Dynevor. She began her career as a child actress starring in BBC’s Waterloo Road. In real life, you’ll be pleased to know, her bangs are a whole lot better. She leads what looks like a pretty fun life, pre-covid travelling a lot and having fun with her family – which includes her mum who is Sally from Coronation Street. She has 673k followers on Instagram.

Regé-Jean Page – The Duke of Hastings

I think we all know what Simon, The Duke of Hastings, looks like in Bridgerton. And yes, of course Regé-Jean Page who plays him is that gorgeous in real life. He is 31, and a British-Zimbabwean actor, born in London. When he’s not being the Duke, he’s doing lots of shoots with magazines, hanging out with pals and being all-round swoon-worthy. He’s got 1.5million followers on Instagram now, but don’t pretend to be surprised at that.

Nicola Coughlan – Penelope Featherington

Nicola Mary Coughlan is an actress from Galway, Ireland, also best known for her role in Derry Girls. In real life you basically just want to be her best friend. She’s been on loads of other TV shows such as Love Island: Aftersun and hangs around with Jonathan from Queer Eye – a friendship group I would like to be part of. She has 534k followers on Instagram, where she shares loads of behind the scenes pictures from everything she works on, and basically proves that she’s besties with everyone she has ever met.

Nicola is a lot older than Penelope in real life. Her birthday is January 9th 1987 so she is set to turn 34 very soon. Penelope’s age in Bridgerton in 17, making her exactly 17 years younger than Nicola.

Jonathan Bailey – Anthony Bridgerton

In Bridgerton, Jonathan Bailey is cast as bad boy Anthony Bridgerton, but in real life he is a British actor from Oxfordshire. He’s also known for his roles in the ITV drama Broadchurch, the BBC’s Leonardo, W1A, Doctor Who, and Channel 4 comedy Campus. He does loads of magazine shoots and on Instagram, it looks as though he spends a lot of time at the beach.

Claudia Jessie – Eloise Bridgerton

Everyone’s fav Bridgerton sister, Eloise, is played by English actress Claudia Jessie. In real life she’s from Birmingham and is 31. She’s best friends with Nicola who plays Penelope in real life as well as in Bridgerton, which finding out should make your day. In an interview they say they send each other ugly photos of themselves all the time, true bestie behaviour.

Luke Newton – Colin Bridgerton

The youngest Bridgerton brother, Colin, is played by Luke Newton. He’s the youngest of all the cast in real life, aged 23. If his Instagram is anything to go by, he loves nothing more than hanging around with his pals, travelling with his girlfriend (a shame) and drinking a beer. What a guy.

Ruby Barker – Marina Thompson

Marina Thompson is played by 24-year-old actress, Ruby Barker. In real life, Ruby is a lot more fun and laid back than her character. She loves rock climbing, yoga and her selfie game is strong. She has 62k followers on Instagram.

Kathryn Drysdale – Madame Delacroix

Sassy dressmaker Madame Delacroix is played by Kathryn Drysdale who you might recognise from her role in St Trinians. Kathryn is 39 and from Wigan, but lives in London. She has 18.4k Instagram followers and posts so many pictures of the Bridgerton cast you could scroll through them for hours.

Sabrina Bartlett – Siena Rosso

Opera singer Siena is played by Sabrina Bartlett. In real life, the actress is very creative. Her parents are both artists, she went to a performing arts school in Guilford and she can dance. Unfortunately though, she has confirmed in an Instagram post that she’s not actually a singer in real life. She’s a keen cook though, even calling herself “curry queen” in her Instagram bio.

Jessica Madsen – Cressida Cowper

Villian Cressida Cowper is played by actress Jessica Madsen. In real life, Jessica is also a photographer!! Her Instagram is crammed full of artsy shots. In a tweet, Nicola Coughlan (Penelope) confirmed Jessica is not like her character, and is instead a “very lovely girl”.

Ruth Gemmell – Lady Bridgerton

Lady Violet Bridgerton is played by British actress Ruth Gemmell. 54-year-old Ruth has been in loads of shows, including Silent Witness and of course, she was the actual Tracy Beaker’s mum.

Polly Walker – Lady Featherington

Lady Featherington is played by British TV icon Polly Walker. You probably know her from Line of Duty, Rome, Mr Selfridge, Cursed, The Syndicate, honestly the list could go on. In real life she is married and has two children.

Jamie Beamish – Lord Berbrooke

To conclude what the Bridgerton cast are like, just to clarify, Jamie Beamish is not as creepy as Lord Berbrooke in real life. He is a perfectly normal actor from Ireland, also known for being in Derry Girls. His Instagram doesn’t give too much else away, but his bio is “wear a mask ya dope”, so there’s that.
