Ariana Grande just got married, but who is her husband? Everything we know

Ariana Grande is now married – having a “tiny and intimate” wedding with her new husband Dalton Gomez. The couple only got engaged in December, with Ari  posting a series of pics on her Insta of him and her very blingy ring, captioning the post “forever n then some”. But who is Ari’s new husband, how long have they been together and when did they meet?

Ari was seen “making out with a mystery guy” at a bar back in February 2020 – just over a year ago. Then last year in late March, TMZ reported this man was actually Dalton Gomez. Other news outlets also reported Ariana was in a relationship with Dalton, but that the couple were keeping things private.

He’s believed to be spending quarantine with Ari

Dalton has appeared on Ari’s Instagram story during the pandemic, and multiple news outlets have reported the two spent lockdown together. But how long have Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez been together?

On March 25 of last year, a source told People Ari and Dalton had been “hanging out for a couple of months”.

The couple became Insta-official on May 26 – less than a year ago! – when Ari first tagged him on Instagram.

Then on December 20th 2020, Ariana Grande confirmed to the world via Instagram that Dalton was her new fiancée. This is 10 months since they were first linked in February, and eight months since they became Insta-official.

If you skip to 3.30 and watch until the end, you’ll see some clips of Dalton and Ari dancing in a bedroom. The music video is with Justin Bieber, and features his wife Hailey Baldwin, as well as other celebs and fans.

The video was released on May 8th 2020 – before Ari and Dalton were Insta-official, but after it had been reported the two were dating.

He’s a luxury real estate agent

According to the New York Times, Dalton is a real estate agent at the Aaron Kirman Group in Los Angeles. His profile on the company’s website says he’s worked in luxury real estate for five years, and was “born and raised” in Southern California. He’s sold multi-million dollar listings.

Hopefully this means Ari is gonna become best mates with Christine and appear on the next season of Selling Sunset.

Apparently Dalton used to be a dancer too, so the pair have many mutual friends.

Could this be the answer to our question of how did Dalton Gomez and Ariana Grande meet? According to Us Weekly, before coronavirus “Ariana was looking for a home outside of Los Angeles to be her getaway house, and her team found Dalton to help.

“When she saw him, she immediately thought he was cute and very good-looking, and she asked her team to set up an in-person meeting with him. Ariana fell very hard for Dalton shortly after they met.”

He has a private Insta and 4,000 followers

Dalton’s Instagram is private, and right now he has 4,278 followers. It’s followed by Ari (obvs), and several of her friends.

According to Elle, Dalton made his account private as soon as the news broke that he was dating Ariana Grande – and now he’s her husband, this still hasn’t changed.

Fans think lots of the Positions lyrics may be about him

In the song Positions, Ariana Grande says she wants to “meet your mama on a Sunday” and “make a lotta love on Monday”, which many fans believe references her fiancée. Other lyrics from the album which may reference their relationship include “You’re too good to be true” and “Heaven sent you to me / I’m just hoping I don’t repeat history”.

Plus, anyone who’s listened to a single second of a Positions song knows Ari sings about shagging so much in the album.

Or at least, shared an Instagram story with her back in 2017.

Ari and Dalton are keeping their relationship private

At the end of last May, a source told Entertainment Tonight Ari and Dalton were “in a really good place”. They said: “Ariana has had some hesitation being so public about her relationship with Dalton as she’s seen how that has worn on her past relationships,” alluding to her past relationships, including with Pete Davidson and Mac Miller.

This is Ari’s first public relationship since her engagement to Pete Davidson ended in October 2018.

The source said: “Dalton and Ariana are in Los Angeles together during quarantine, and it has been a great opportunity for them to spend quality time together.”
