I'm a celebrity ending early

These are the reasons I’m A Celebrity is ending earlier this year

Don’t know how I’m going to cope without Ant and Dec

This year’s series of I’m A Celebrity is ending early this Friday with the finale taking place at 9pm.

Instead of the usual three weeks, this year’s campmates will only be in the castle for two weeks and five days, if they reach the final, of course.

ITV have not confirmed the exact reason for cutting the series short this year, but there have been a number of sensible guesses floating around the internet which would suggest why we’re getting less Ant and Dec in 2020.

It is thought the colder temperatures Wales gets in December has played a factor in the decision to end the show early. Another theory is it would allow the crew time to isolate before heading home to spend Christmas with their families.

This year’s series will be the shortest one since 2014 which equally had 20 episodes. All the series before 2012 only had 20 episodes as well, so it is not unheard of in I’m A Celeb history to have an early ending for the show.

Hollie Arnold MBE and Ruthie Henshall have both been voted out of the competition and tonight a double elimination is expected. Victoria Derbyshire and Russell Watson are the bookies’ favourites to be voted out next.

The predicted winning contestant could either be Jordan North, Giovanna Fletcher or Vernon Kay according to the bookies, who have placed all got the best odds of winning the competition.

Even though I’m A Celebrity is shorter this year, everyone’s favourite Celebrity Cyclone will be returning, so at least there’s that.
