Megan Barton Hanson has spoken out about the bizarre DM she received off Scott Disick and said she thinks Eyal could be behind the message.

In an exclusive interview with LIT Entertainment News, Megan said she thought Eyal might be involved in the message, because of the terms Scott used in the message.

She said: “Just when you think 2020 couldn’t get any weirder, what the hell has just happened? I mean, he [Eyal] might be. But then, he’s with his girlfriend, who is stunning. They’re so cute and happy together. I don’t know.

“But since when do American people use the term ‘mugged off’? Like, do you guys say ‘mugged off’? It’s not a thing, right? Whoever sent this or advised him to send this was definitely British. And ‘program’. He was like, ‘I’ve watched the program’. Do you guys say ‘program’?”

Megan did say however in the interview that she doesn’t think Eyal still has feelings for her as he’s “got a stunning girlfriend”, who Megan said she had met.

When Megan first got the DM off Scott asking her to apologise to Eyal for her behaviour towards him on Love Island two years ago, she said she didn’t know if it “was a joke”.

In the interview Megan said she found it weird and thought maybe Scott was drunk when he sent it.

She said: “Honestly, I didn’t know if it was a joke, I didn’t know what the situation was. But it was mind-blowing that a 40 year old guy was trying to troll a 20-something year old. I was like, what wrong with you?

“I didn’t take it that seriously. I mean, I guess Scott did to write a whole essay. But to me, it’s just funny. And weird. We looked at the time and my management were like, ‘He must have sent this at like 5am’. So I don’t know, maybe he was just a bit drunk.”

Megan said she had never met Scott and did not reply to the message he sent her, but wanted to share it because “it was so funny”.

Scott is now reportedly dating 19-year-old Amelia Hamlin, who is the younger sister of Delilah Belle Hamlin, who is in a relationship with Eyal.

When asked what she thought of the age gap between Scott and Amelia, Megan said Scott probably thinks she is middle aged.

She said: “I mean, to him I’m probably middle aged. Like, the fact he’s trolling someone who’s 26 and he’s, what? 40? But when I put it into perspective, he’s dating a 19 year old, so I’m probably old to him.”

Scott has also addressed the DM he sent Megan by resharing a TikTok on his Instagram story. In the TikTok someone was explaining their shock at the whole situation and Scott reposted it with the caption “thanks for understanding”.

Megan did say she could send an apology by carrier pigeon, if you’re interested Scott?
