Riverdale, marriage and horror films: This is what the kids from Friends are up to now

Emma is studying science at college, Ross would be so proud

Friends finished over 15 years ago and yet everyone still seems to be so obsessed with it. But if there’s anything that will make you realise how much time has passed and maybe you should give up your Friends obsession once and for all is that Emma would be turning 18 this year.

Yes the tiny daughter of Ross and Rachel would be all grown up and off to college. But where is the real Emma now? Well turns out she is off to college to study neuroscience.

A lot has changed since the main Friends kids Ben, Emma and Phoebe’s triplets first appeared on the sitcom and they’ve definitely grown up. One of them is actually married, and if that doesn’t make you feel old, nothing will.

This is what all the iconic Friends kids are up to now:

Ben – Cole Sprouse

Ben Geller is easily the most memorable of the kids in Friends, being born at the end of season one and even having the odd minor storyline in the later seasons of the show.

Ben was played by a number of actors in the 10 years Friends was on, but when Ben reached a proper talking stage in the later seasons he was played by Cole Sprouse.

Aka Cody from Disney Channel’s Zack and Cody and Jughead in Netflix’s Riverdale. Cole was just eight-years-old when he first appeared as Ben and is now 28-years-old.

Friends wasn’t even Cole’s first acting role, he had already been in the films Big Daddy and The Astronaut’s Wife. Since Friends Cole hasn’t stopped acting and been in every Disney Channel show going, including his main role in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Now he has over 30 million followers on Instagram and aside from staring in Riverdale, he is a photographer and has shot for Teen Vogue and The Sunday Times Style.

Emma – Cali and Noelle Sheldon

Ross and Rachel’s daughter was surprisingly in more episodes than her half brother Ben despite only being born in the last episode of season eight. Whilst she was a baby she was played by two sets of twins – Elizabeth and Genevieve Davidson, and Alexandra and Athina Conley.

But she was recast in season 10 for her toddler age and played by twins Cali and Noelle Sheldon. Cali and Noelle are now 18-years-old and attending their first year of college at UCLA in Los Angeles. Cali is planning on studying neuroscience, Ross would be so proud.

On Cali’s Instagram she told her followers she doesn’t remember filming Friends and sadly hasn’t seen the cast since, but does occasionally post a throwback with Jennifer Anniston.

Noelle and Cali haven’t done a lot of acting since Friends but did star in the horror film US last year.

Leslie Buffay – Allisyn Snyder

Like Ben and Emma, Phoebe’s triplets were played by a series of actors. And in series 10 Leslie Buffay was played by Allisyn Snyder. Allisyn was only seven-years-old when she appeared on Friends and is now 24-years-old.

Allisyn went onto have a main role in the Disney Channel show Sonny With a Chance, which starred Demi Lovato. Allisyn played Zora and reprised her role for the spin-off, So Random!

She then did a number of appearances on TV shows before getting her next main role as Heather on the NBC show A.P. Bio.

Allisyn is also married as well! She started dating Dylan Snyder in 2014 and the two got married in late 2019. Alliysn is also an artist and studied cinematography, oh and she has over 100k followers on Instagram.

Chandler Buffay – Sierra Marcoux

Unlike the early actors who played the triplets, the season 10 triplets weren’t related to each other. Chandler Buffay was played by Sierra Marcoux, who was only five-years-old when she appeared on the show.

She’s now 22-years-old and hasn’t done much acting since. She appeared in the film Ablution in 2007 and voiced a character in a Charlie Brown TV short.

Frank Jr. Jr. – Dante Pastula

Imagine forever being known as the little kid pulling the tampons out of a woman’s bag. Frank Buffay Jr. Jr. was played by Dante Pastula who was six-years-old when he took on the role.

He’s now 23-years-old and joined Sierra in the film Ablution. Apart from that the only other acting he’s done has been as a voice in The Polar Express.
