The Apprentice’s Lottie Lion says she is ‘terrified to go out’ in emotional video

‘I hate myself more than any of you ever could’

The Apprentice’s Lottie Lion has revealed she is “terrified to go out in public” after being targeted by countless trolls and abuse in real life.

Lottie posted a video to her Twitter over the weekend to explain how an incident at the pub has left her physical shaking and in tears after a woman “abused” her.

She also revealed in the video how much she hates herself and that she is unable to cope with the abuse.

Lottie had initially posted a tweet about the incident in the pub, she wrote: “I’m fed up. I was in a pub with friends this eve & a woman questioned if I was ‘Lottie off The Apprentice’, once I confirmed, she started to abuse me. Usually I’m quite strong, but this hit me. I’m embarrassed to say I left in tears. I wasn’t a family fave but this is ruining me.”

She then retweeted her original tweet with the video explaining how hurt she has become and terrified to go out in public nearly a year after her appearance on The Apprentice.

Lottie said: “It’s nearly been a year since The Apprentice aired and I’m still getting abuse in pubs and stuff. It’s absolutely destroying me and I don’t know what to do. It makes me terrified to go out in public.

“What am I supposed to do, not go? Am I supposed to just stay inside and not live my life? I don’t know what to do any more. I can’t cope with it. I can’t cope with any more nastiness about me.”

In an even more upsetting revelation Lottie described her self-hatred and how much she regrets going on the show.

Lottie said: “I hate myself more than any of you ever could. When you tell me how much you hated me, or how annoying you found me and how nasty I was…I know.

“I just went on a programme, I wish that I hadn’t, its my biggest regret…just leave me alone.”

Lottie’s co-star on The Apprentice, Thomas Skinner, replied to her video offering his support and told her to ignore “unkind words”.

He wrote: “Morning Lottie. Ignore unkind words of others, ur a strong independent women an have a big future ahead of you! Keep your head down an keep smiling. You’ve got this. Even a beautiful Flower needs Rain to grow. Keep moving forward, I’m here if you need for a phone call or chat.”

A number of Lottie’s followers replied to the video expressing their support for Lottie as well.
