Gigi Hadid shared interior pictures of her apartment and it’s giving me a headache
‘Gigi deciding to make her apartment look like a hostel is sending me’
Gigi Hadid has shared some interior pictures of her Manhattan apartment and it’s safe to say, it’s a lot to take in. There’s pasta art, a giant pen, blu-tack posters and so many strange colour schemes. It’s all very confusing and Twitter is rinsing her pretty badly.
She shared the post on Instagram yesterday, which read: “Spent all of last year designing and curating my passion project / dream spot. Of course it all came together right before quarantining out of the city…. but I’m excited for the time I’ll get to spend enjoying all the special corners that were made with a lil help from some of my favourite creatives (tap!) who embraced my ideas and didn’t call me crazy. ++ my mamma:) who is the greatest homemaking-sounding-board I could ask for (she called me crazy when required) grateful to and for all.”
She attached 10 photos of the NoHo apartment, which was reportedly worth around $4million when she moved in. She’s spent a year revamping it and now it looks completely different to when she first bought it.
The first picture is of her sofa, which is quite colourful but overall looks comfortable and widely inoffensive. But that’s just the beginning.
We’re then getting a little bit more hostel / Airbnb vibes with the bright colours and exposed wood. And no, I’m not sure what that art work is meant to be either. They could be eggs?
Then we move into the kitchen where there is a giant bowl of pool balls, of course. This is also where we see the first hints of what may be a pasta obsession. But tbh Gigi, same.
Now this is the best bit. Gigi Hadid having inedible dried pasta cupboard facades in her apartment really is something. I’m obsessed with them all being different pasta shapes and rainbow coloured. I just want to know why? Is the only food product available in her home pasta?
That picture has Airbnb written all over it. And yes, that is a giant pen.
You mean to say you don’t have cut outs from The New Yorker blu-tacked onto your bathroom wall?
The rest speaks for itself. Take a look and try not to feel like you’re backpacking around Thailand and have just stopped off at your next place.
Gigi Hadid sharing her apartment pictures has become subject of a lot of spot on memes
