As a result of the recent social media fame, Britney Spears’ boyfriend Sam Asghari has come into the spotlight. But who even is Sam Asghari, I hear you ask? Good question! Britney and Sam Asghari have a 13 year age gap

There’s a  big old 13 years difference between these two love birds. For Sam and Britney, age is just a number, however this does make him only 12 years older than her eldest child. Britney is 38 and has two sons, Sean and Jayden, from her previous relationship with Kevin Federline.

During an Interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sam said that he can “absolutely” see himself married to Britney in the future.

The couple made their relationship Instagram official on New Year’s Day 2017. Since then, they have been posting about each other a lot.

He played her love interest

Sam and Britney met filming on the set of Britney’s music video, Slumber Party. Sam played Britney’s love interest, obviously. The music video has reached over 90 million views on YouTube

In an interview with Men’s Health, Sam revealed how he actually tried to play it cool when he first spoke to Britney. He revealed that between takes he attempted to break the ice with a joke, he said: “She said, ‘Hi, I’m Britney,’ and I said, ‘I’m sorry. What’s your name again?’” He then admitted that it was him trying to be funny but no one understood the joke.

In the same interview, Sam stated that after filming Slumber Party, Britney and himself exchanged numbers and later went for sushi.

 

Sam is very familiar with filming YouTube music videos. He also appeared in Fifth Harmony’s music video for Work From Home. This video has over two billion views and Sam plays one of the sweaty workmen.

In a previous interview with Us Weekly, an anonymous source revealed that the couples relationship is in fact “rock solid” and being Britney Spears’ boyfriend, Sam has been trying to keep her level headed and calm during the drama of the conservatorship.

Sam has had a dramatic body transformation

In March earlier this year, Sam posted on Instagram a side-by-side post of his previous and current body image. He captioned it: “When I look back I see a lot have changed, a lot!

“When you have some extra beef on ya like I do on the left you need alot of personality to attract people around you otherwise your life will be as empty as your dinner plates ”

This follows after Sam’s previous unhealthy relationship with food. It was reported that in 2013 he struggled a lot with unhealthy eating and finding the motivation to get fit. In an exclusive interview with Men’s Health, Sam revealed: “I was eating Doritos for breakfast, fast food, sugar, candy, no protein, a lot of carbs, and drinking sugary sodas.

“My nutrition was extremely horrible. The stress and the fear of not going anywhere [in life] combined gave me my depression.”

In six months he lost over one hundred pounds and began his new job as a fitness trainer, leaving the night club scene. In 2015 his sister moved to the USA and saw his body transformation, encouraging him to audition for music videos and modelling.

He has 1.4 million followers on Instagram

Sam’s Instagram is mainly him shirtless and the pictures scream male model. He’s over 1.4 million followers including Tyler Oakley, Terry Crews and Jeff Wittek. He also follows The Rock but unfortunately he is not followed back.
