Body found in lake where Naya Rivera went missing, police say
It is not yet confirmed to be Naya
Lydia VennPolice have confirmed a body has been found in Lake Pira, where they are currently searching for Glee’s Naya Rivera who has been presumed dead since Friday.
In a tweet the Venture County Sherriff department said: “Happening now: A body has been found at Lake Piru this morning. The recovery is in progress. A news conference will take place at 2 pm at the lake..”
It has not been confirmed if the body is Naya Rivera.
Naya was reported missing last Thursday after taking a boat trip with her four-year-old son who was found alone sleeping on a boat. The following day after searching of the lake police said she was presumed dead and had turned their rescue into a “recovery mission.”
The police are expected to release more information at 10pm GMT today.
