Lydia VennNaya Rivera from Glee has been confirmed missing by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department after her four-year-old son was found alone on a boat.
The two had rented a boat on Lake Piru in Southern California on Wednesday afternoon. However a fellow boater reported seeing a child asleep on a drifting boat.
A search operation was launched yesterday with helicopters, drones and dive teams. However was called off last night at 8pm and will resume at first light today.
Naya played Santana Lopez in Glee for a number of years. According to TMZ Naya’s son said she had: “jumped into the water but didn’t come back up.”
Her car was found in the lake’s parking lot and her handbag was inside the car.
