Katie Hopkins has been permanently banned from Twitter

A sad sad sad day for free speech and people who enjoy shagging in fields

Exeter grad Katie Hopkins has been permanently banned from Twitter for “hateful conduct”, the company has confirmed.

After years of trying to piss everyone on the site off for a reaction, the jig is finally up for former Apprentice contestant Hopkins.

A Twitter spokesperson told HuffPost: “Keeping Twitter safe is a top priority for us – abuse and hateful conduct have no place on our service and we will continue to take action when our rules are broken.

“In this case, the account has been permanently suspended for violations of our hateful conduct policy.”

Hopkins’ account now bears a blank picture with the words “account suspended” and “Twitter suspends accounts that violate the Twitter rules.”
