This is exactly how much money winter Islanders are already making on Instagram
I guess they’re doing alright
It’s a rite of passage that when you go on Love Island you get loads of Instagram followers and end up having a career as an influencer after. We all know the routine now and have accepted it.
So just how much are the most recent cohort of Islanders making per Instagram post? Digitaloft has created a social scoreboard, ranking the Love Island 2020 cast by how much they each could potentially charge for just one Instagram post. Here it is:
Paige Turley – £8,111
Out of all the winter Love Island cast, winner Paige Turley has the most followers. According to Digitaloft, she could charge brands up to £8,111 for a single post to her 1.6million followers.
Shaughna Phillips – £7,598
You can just tell that Shaughna is ready to turn her Instagram into a goldmine. She’s already started posting shout outs to beauty brands, which haven’t been stated as ads, but she’s clearly letting people know she’s ripe for the sponsored content. And who could blame her, a post to her 1.5million followers could cost up to £7,598 – which isn’t exactly bad for a few minutes of work.
Siânnise Fudge – £7,168
Siânnise is already on that #ad life. She’s uploaded an advert on her Instagram story for a dating app, proving she’s already cashing in on the Love Island fame. A single post to her 1.4million followers could set a brand back £7,168.
Finley Tapp – £6,576
The other half of the winning couple, Finn, could also make a pretty penny on Insta. According to Digitaloft, one post to his 1.3million followers would cost up to £6,576.
Luke Trotman – £6,095
Luke T can charge brands just over £6,000 for a post to his 1.2million followers. Just like his other half, Siânnise, he’s already started advertising on Instagram – he too has promoted the new dating app.
Luke Mabbott – £5,842
Finalist Luke Mabbott could potentially cash in on his Justin Bieber good looks, by charging brands up to £5,842 for one post on his Instagram profile. He currently has 1.2million followers.
Demi Jones – £4,970
It’s only a matter of time before Luke M’s other half, Demi, is swimming in clothing brand deals. And when the time does come, she could be charging them up to £4,970 for a post to her 1million followers.
Callum Jones – £4,081
Callum has well and truly kissed goodbye to the scaffolder life and is instead making his money online. His first Instagram ad was a huge Louis Vuitton bag and cash giveaway in a deal with a drinks brand. Right now, according to Digitaloft, posts to his 841k followers are worth just over £4,000.
Sophie Piper – £3,801
Sophie Piper was made to be an influencer, and her Love Island appearance has provided the springboard she always needed. Since leaving the Love Island villa she has already started doing sponsored content on her Instagram profile. She currently has 783k followers, making her posts worth £3,801.
Jessica Gale – £3,287
