There’s a new trailer for Sex Education season two and it looks messy

A new Sex Education season 2 trailer has dropped ahead of the series release tomorrow and it looks messy.

The trailer, with the tagline “second season, second chances”, shows Otis pretty confident he’s actually going to have sex until the return of Maeve looks to complicate things.

It even gives away Adam’s return. Except he’s not slogging away in military school, but working in a pharmacy.

What’s more, Eric is kissing Rahim, Sami Outalbali’s new character.

Season two will also bring Isaac and Viv, two new characters player by George Robinson and Chinenye Ezeudu.

Plus Gillian Anderson is dancing in the trailer, which is all we need.

What else do we know about Sex Education season 2?

It’s out tomorrow – January 17th.

Tantalisingly, the trailer expands on a few plot points the series’ creators had hinted at. Laurie Nunn told Thrillist: “I love the idea of getting different characters together. If not together in a relationship, just together in the space.”

Emma Mackey, who plays Maeve Wiley, told Teen Vogue there’s room for a few different relationships and friendships to blossom. She said: “I hope that Maeve and Aimee have a lot more time together, that their friendship comes to the forefront and centre stage because I think there’s something really beautiful there… A focus on female friendships would be amazing.”
