This is not a drill, Aldi is selling prosecco for £3.99

Race you for it

Aldi have answered our prayers because now you can be prosecco drunk for the rest of 2019, as they are currently selling bottles of prosecco for £3.99.

Yes. £3.99. That’s less than a double at most Spoons.

The prosecco is usually on sale for £4.99, but Aldi have reduced it to £3.99 just in time for Christmas.

The bottle in question is said to have a soft and fruity blend and most importantly has 10.5 per cent alcohol volume.

The bargain is no longer available online as it has sold out, but it is still available in more than 830 Aldi stores around the UK.

But get there quickly as this is guaranteed to sell out.

Prosecco ranges  in price at various supermarkets, with Aldi’s competitor, Lidl, currently selling a bottle for £5.49.

And Waitrose on the other end of the scale are selling a magnum of prosecco for £16.49.

Aldi also saved us last year when they introduced a hangover free prosecco.

Most proseccos give you a hangover because of the use of sulphate preservatives.

However in organic prosecco these are lessened and so Aldi’s organic prosecco was a game changer promising no hangover.

Well I know where I’ll be stocking up for party season.
