The Greggs Christmas menu is officially on sale today and it is full of tasty Christmas treats, including the universally adored festive bake and – get this – pigs in blankets.

Stop checking your Google Maps for the nearest Greggs and listen to me – there's more. The official Christmas menu actually includes sixteen new items. Sixteen! Here they are:

In terms of savoury snacks, the classic festive bake is back, thank God, and costs £1.75. The festive bake is filled with chicken, stuffing, bacon and a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.

Come to mama

Also returning to the Christmas menu is the Christmas lunch sandwich (turkey, pork, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, salad, cranberry and port sauce and mayo on malted bread), the pigs under blankets baguette and the Christmas lunch soup!

You can also get a tub of pigs in blankets (I'm listening) for just £2.25. The catch is, they're only available in 600 of Greggs' 1,850 stores. So go and have a peek at your local Greggs to find out if you're one of the lucky ones. If you're not – cry, I guess.

If we're talking sweet treats, there are six of these festive beauties available. There are Christmas ring buns, novelty biscuits, shortbread bites, tiffin bits and of course, mince pies.

To top it off, Greggs is also offering festive drinks. Mint hot chocolate, mint mocha and salted caramel lattes are all available! I don't know about you, but I am overwhelmed.

All of the savoury menu is available right this second, whereas the sweet treats and drinks will be released by November 18th. That means somewhere, probably quite nearby, there is a festive bake sitting waiting to be eaten. Go.
