Stormzy is funding two more black students to go to Cambridge

He’s already putting two students through Cambridge

Stormzy will be paying for two black students to go to Cambridge, he has announced.

It's a continuation of the Stormzy Scholarship launched last year, and he will be paying the tuition fees and maintenance loans of the students

The scholarship is aimed at students from BME backgrounds to address the low number of people from those backgrounds who go to Oxbridge.

He will also carry on paying for the two who got in last year.

The names of the two students currently on the scholarship are not made public, but Stormzy has been keeping in touch and making sure they're doing ok academically, the BBC report.

Last year, Stormzy also revealed that Oxford had declined to get involved with the scheme.

However, the scholarship is far from the only way he's been getting involved in universities.

In 2017, he donated £9,000 to send an Oxford student to Harvard for a master's and this year, his book imprint published a book by two Cambridge grads about being black at uni.
