We may only be two episodes in to the new season of Game of Thrones, but already it's been a lot. There's been Bran Stark memes, hidden meanings, sex scenes, Tormund memes, and that's just the start. Another thing season eight, episode two left us questioning is this: Is Game of Thrones' Podrick Payne hot? How did this happen?!

How has Podrick Payne, the silly and questionably chubby guy that bumbles around, and is defo always in the friend zone, become the hottest guy in Winterfell?! The guy can sing, and he looks really good in armour. It seems as though out of nowhere, Game of Thrones' Podrick has gotten really, really hot. Nobody was ready for this, but we're definitely not complaining.

Ok Podrick, when did this happen?

Maybe his sudden glow up is down to him wearing armour and wielding a sword around, maybe it's because the last episode seemed to have a dusky, dark lighting that could of made anyone look hotter than they actually are. Whatever it is, the world has accepted Podrick Payne is the new hottest character in Game of Thrones.

It's been staring us in the face since this scene tbh:

We've now completely invested into hot Podrick Payne and his angelic voice, he can sing a song every episode if he wants to. We are now left with another tedious, notably Podrick Payne-less, week-long gap without Game of Thrones, waiting for episode three to be aired.

Game of Thrones season eight, episode three airs next weekend. This instalment is called "The Battle of Winterfell", and promises the bloodshed we've all been waiting for. Just please, not Podrick. Anyone but Podrick.
