These two videos prove that Love Island is actually staged

Something weird is going on here

Love Island fans may still be debating who kissed who, but now a video has come out suggesting that the whole date scene may have been staged or fake.

During last Sunday’s Love Island Aftersun, ITV replayed the kiss between Georgia and Jack from three different angles. But people have noticed that the first and second angle shots don’t match up in terms of timing.

The Kiss

THE KISS WAS FAKE? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR US?

In the first angle, Wes and Megan are kissing while Georgia and Jack are getting ready to leave. In the second angle, Georgia and Jack are kissing while Megan and Wes are still preparing to kiss. And the two video clips don’t match up at all.

Does this mean Jack and Georgia actually kissed four times in total? Why did the film have to get filmed twice? Has the whole thing been staged? Is Love Island real?!

According to Tyla Carr, a contestant from last year, contestants would often be asked to reshoot scenes if the cameras missed a dramatic incident.

She told the Daily Star: “What viewers don’t see is there is always a producer on site. They don’t live in the villa with us but someone generally comes in every hour to have a chat. They would often tannoy an announcement asking for someone to come to the sofa to have a chat with one of the producers. They tell you what they want you to talk about, and who with.”

She added: “You have to tell the producers on site if you are planning to have an important chat or do something, so they make sure the microphones pick it up and the cameras get it. If you forget they would call you in and ask you to film it again.

“Liv Attwood had to dump Sam Gowland twice last year, which was embarrassing for both of them.”

A spokesman said: “It is absolutely untrue to suggest Love Island is fake. The opinions they have and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves.”

They added: “As we have said since series one, Love Island is a combination of reality and produced elements. Any produced elements are designed to allow viewers to understand what the Islanders are feeling and to help move narrative threads on.”
