We think this is the first boy and girl to go on Love Island 2018

I don't mean to panic you but Love Island's fourth season is VERY near. We know what that means – drama, heartbreak, and iconic moments that will go down in British history.

And if that wasn't enough, they're extending the show by an extra week this year, meaning you can binge watch it for eight entire weeks long.

But with all the hype, have you thought about who will be part of this year's cast? Who will be the new Cam and Jamie? Will there be anyone more cringe than Dom and Jess? Is there going to be another villa villain like Jonny Mitchell? Who are going to be the new people we're going to Insta stalk for the whole summer?

We think we've figured out which boy and girl have the strongest chances to get on the show this year and here's all the evidence to back it up:

Taylor Ward, 20, Manchester

Taylor Ward, daughter of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward, is looking like the most likely girl contestant to appear on the show this year.

The model who is 20, has already had an audition and made the shortlist.

She's grown up in Manchester and has 106k followers on Insta. Her dad is also Ashley Ward, an ex-footballer who used to play for England.

Taylor regularly appears on Real Housewives of Cheshire so she definitely knows her way around the cameras.

A TV insider told The Sun: "Bosses really enjoyed meeting Taylor; she's confident and definitely has all the qualities of a perfect islander.

“She understands the world of reality TV already with her mum being one of the stars of the Real Housewives of Cheshire but she’s still a normal girl who’s looking for love."

Ethan Allen, 23, Manchester

Love Island's producers have also been in talks with Ethan Allen. He's the brother of Gabby Allen, who appeared on the show last year and came in fourth place with Marcel.

And honestly it would make so much sense for him to go on the show because he won everyone's hearts when he appeared on the show last year, to cheer on his sister.

The 23-year-old Leeds alumnus studied Economics and was also a 1XV rugby fly-half. Since graduating last year, he's been travelling around Vietnam.

Ethan was also crowned the Tab Leeds' most eligible bachelor of 2016.

According to The Sun, he’s been into meetings to discuss a place on the ITV2 show.

An insider said: "Ethan didn't want to go on the show initially, even though Gabby had such an amazing time.

"But producers were keen to get him on board and he's been in for a couple of meetings.

“He's not fully on board yet, and it's too early to say who's definitely going on the show, but he's in talks and Gabby is encouraging him to do it."
