These are officially the best smoking areas in the country, as voted for by you

Last week we asked you which is the undisputed best club smoking area in the country. 1,200 of you voted, and now the results are in.

With over 26 smoking areas across the country to choose from, Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh won over 10 per cent of the vote, and is now holds the title of best smoking area in the UK.

Liquid Rooms treats its smokers to a luxury smoking experience, likened to an all inclusive holiday resort for Edinburgh's smokers, complete with cushioned chairs, mood lighting, heaters and an outside bar.

Beaver Works in Leeds came second, with 8.5 per cent of the vote, and Timepiece in Exeter took third place with 7.5 per cent.

Swingers in Newcastle just missed out on a podium place with 7.3 per cent, despite the plush wooden decking and outside DJ.

Rounding out the top five was Stealth in Nottingham, with Oxford's infamous Bridge smoking area missing out in sixth.
