Private: The Queen owns her own branch of Greggs

Really, how lucky can one person be

Elizabeth II is the Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, has two birthdays, and a personal wealth of £360 million.

Well, prepare to get a whole lot more jealous, because it turns out the queen also owns a branch of Greggs.

The store can be found in Cheltenham, more specifically the Gallagher Retail Park on Tewkesbury Road.

Does this mean that the Queen and the royal family can pick up unlimited steak bakes every time they're passing through Gloucestershire?

I'd be pretty happy too if I owned a flipping Greggs

Probably not, as the Crown Estate own half of the 14,000 square metre park, which also houses a 'big Sainos' and a Whole Foods. But at least she's paying using money with her own face on it.

On top of this, the Crown Estate is not the Queen's personal property, but belongs to "the Queen", and profits made go to the Treasury.

Other Crown Estate properties include The Savoy Hotel in London and Ascot Racecourse, which sound impressive, but pale in comparison to owning at least part of a Greggs.
