Aimee Clemson is this year’s best dressed graduate

3,400 of you voted the best dressed at graduation 2017, and Aimee Clemson was your winner.

She won with 27 per cent of the vote, followed by Sammy Tempo in second and Diyora Shadijanova in third.

Aimee graduated from the University of Warwick and studied History. She is from St Ives in Cornwall: “I’ve lived there all my life, so have grown up on the beach, hence why I live in my Birkinstocks or flip flops!”

She will be taking a year out to volunteer in schools in South America, with the hope to get a PGCE when she’s back to become a teacher abroad, “hopefully somewhere hot with a beach”.

About her victory, Aimee said: “I’m so overwhelmed that I won! My best friend nominated me and then told me afterwards. I doubted I’d even be considered! Is it bad to say I’m more excited about this than getting my degree?”

She told us that her graduation suit is from Oasis: “I love oasis for formal wear, it’s so classy! Generally I tend to shop in most high street shops, I especially love River Island.

“I also love shopping in vintage and charity shops for the odd pieces, I got my oversized Levi denim jacket from a charity shop and I wear it all the time!”
