I asked guys on Tinder to tell me how they lost their virginity and they did not let me down

If like me, you grew up watching teen dramas, you grew up with the idea that losing your virginity is not only a very real concept but one that’s magical and romantic and special. Let’s be realistic: your first time is awkward.

It was never going to be anything other than awkward. But at least it’s awkward for everyone. And I mean everyone. Unless you haven’t had sex yet, in which case I hope you don’t get turned off by this, because it gets really great after that first time. Trust me.

So, in order to combat this taboo around talking about your first time (because we’re weirdly okay with talking about literally everything else), I asked the most “up for anything” guys you could possibly find how they lost their virginity.

Spoiler alert: they were guys off Tinder.

I expected a lot from these guys to be honest, and I’m sorry to say they let me down. Tinder guys have a reputation for a reason, but on this occasion they did not live up to it. Most of them didn’t seem to want to get that personal that quickly, and of the ones that did, half of their stories were so boring.

But I grafted and grafted, and eventually some of them decided to spill the beans on what went down during their first time. Lucky me.
