This sex toy company is giving out free vibrators to ‘women in need’ to combat the orgasm gap

Guess there’s some good left in this world after all

Straight women have less orgasms than anyone else in the world and universe, according to accurate scientific but pretty depressing research. The sad fact is that the orgasm gap exists. The happy fact is that steps are being taken to change that.

Feminist sex toy company ‘Sexy Liberation’ – a name which despite their good intentions kind of makes me wince – promises to contribute to the change by providing all of their sex toys to anyone who asks for them, all absolutely free, to women “in need”.

Their website explains: “If you are in need of a sex toy, we are happy to provide you with one. Choose the toy that you desire and we will send it to you free of charge.”

In the aim of promoting sexual liberation the organisation, who works with vlogger and sex educator Laci Green, promises all their sex toys will be delivered within two weeks, as an “important component of the ongoing sexual revolution”.

The website goes on to say: “Many people don’t have access to or haven’t been exposed to the exciting world of sexual exploration, we want to help people, especially women, by being a stepping stone.

“Personal experimentation with sex aids can help women discover and embrace their own sources of pleasure. And a woman who knows herself sexually will feel more confident talking honestly with her partner about her needs and desires. If you are woman in a relationship that is having trouble getting off, we are here for you.”

The company originally got their start at sexual health clinics, gender studies departments and protests. They encourage supporters to help their cause by choosing to purchase a sex toy on their site – if you’re having great sex and not one of the ones in need – and by sharing it with other needy “less fortunate” women.

They are truly doing God’s work.
