Greggs is going to start delivering in London
The service launched in Newcastle today
This afternoon, Greggs announced the launch of a delivery service in the Newcastle. But, more importantly, it is coming to London soon.
Yes, that’s right, you can dodge the terrible weather and enjoy your sausage roll or steak bake in the comfort of your own home.
Greggs Delivered has been launched at the Cobalt Business Park in North Tyneside, and will then be rolled out to Newcastle’s City Centre in the near future.
This means that from today, the 14,000 people in the surrounding area will be able to order sandwiches, sausage rolls and Yum Yums straight to their office.
There used to merely be hope, a dream:
I wish Greggs delivered. It's pissing down and I'm in my pj's in bed. But I'm gonna die of starvation very soon.

Now, many are rejoicing:
Greggs delivered to my window is best thing that's happened in a while

But not everyone is that impressed, like Finn here:
What sort of scruff would get a greggs delivered to their door

The trial will first include other areas of Newcastle – the Greggs capital of the UK- followed by London and then Manchester city centre.
