The terrifying craze, which started on college campuses in the US, has now spread to Ireland.

Several clowns have been spotted around the city in the last few days.

The news comes after a clown was spotted outside Belfast nightclub Villa on Tuesday.

There have been at least six clown sightings in Newcastle, prompting Northumbria Police to arrest one brandishing a knife.

Now the trend has spread to Dublin, and people are scared.
