Places you have to eat in Sevenoaks this summer

Screw the summer body

Sevenoaks might not seem like the best place to find brilliant food, but it’s hiding a few absolute gems. You’ll find a few generic places on the high street, but look a little closer and you can find some of the best restaurants in the area.

Who needs a beach body anyway? The Tab has compiled a list of the best restaurants that you need to try out in Sevenoaks this summer.

Beaux Bagels

The absolute best place to get a bagel in Sevenoaks and possibly the whole world.

The Vine Restaurant

So fancy, but so worth a visit if you fancy a treat. It’s elegant, stylish, and serves up some incredible eats. Best to go for dinner rather than lunch or breakfast. It also epitomises Sevenoaks by referring to children as “little ones” on it’s breakfast menu.

El Matador

Just get a steak – trust me.

Malabar

Very cute coffee house on a little side street in the town centre. Definitely the place to stop if you’re just having a wander round the shops.

The Tulsi in Westerham

A little further out but serves up amazing Indian food. Staff are super friendly, and the food is definitely worth the extra travel.

Perfetto Country Store in Ightam

Again, outside the main drag of Sevenoaks but is literally the definition of hidden gem. It’s nothing special on the outside – it just looks like a roadside shop, but it does amazing, traditional Italian food. A must.

The Little Garden

Has a special charcoal oven that means it absolutely smashes everything from steak to fish to vegetables. Lovely setting, lovely food.

Valentina

Another incredible Italian on the high street. They offer a pretty big menu with a variety of amazing options, and have a shop where you can buy goodies like cheeses and cured meat.

Hattusa

Friendly, buzzy Turkish restaurant with even lovelier food. There’s something for everyone, whether you like to experiment or play it safe.

Raj Bari

Super friendly staff and amazing Indian cuisine. Side note – they do absolutely massive samosas.

Rafferty’s

Another cute cafe in Sevenoaks that’s well worth a trip to for a bit of brunch, or if you’re catching up with someone over coffee and a bit of cake.
