The next UK Prime Minister is going to be a woman

Unfortunately she’ll also be a Tory

Michael Gove has come third in the Conservative leadership race – meaning the next British Prime Minister will definitely be a woman.

The ballot is now a two horse race between Theresa May and Andrea Leadsom, with 165 and 66 votes respectively.

Michael Gove came in third place with just 48 votes before he dropped, leaving the two HBICs to fight it out amongst themselves.

The last – and only time – a woman held the position of Prime Minister was when Margaret Thatcher was elected in 1979. Let’s hope it won’t be as bad as that though.
