Summer has finally arrived in the South (while it rains up North)

Suck out Newcastle

After a bleak and rainy June, the weather forecast for the South of England is finally giving disgruntled Remainers something to smile about.

Whip your shades out, London and South East England face a sunny start, where temperatures are expected to rise to 22 degrees. As the cloud increases from the West however, so will mugginess and light winds. Bringing with it light rain.

Tomorrow will see a cloudy start with increasing amounts of sunshine. Highs of 22 degrees mean we are officially experiencing a heatwave (kinda).

As the week ensues the sunny spells will continue across the South, which is to remain dry and bright with temperatures expected to reach a whopping 24 degrees on Friday.

Brighter than Gove’s leadership chances

Don’t plan a weekend beach trip (or an escape to Europe) too soon though, as Saturday looks to be cloudy and humid with sunnier prospects and highs of 22 degrees on Sunday.

Basically, the South is great and the North is shit. Holla.
