As per <a href=\"https:\/\/dailysoapdish.com\/2022\/07\/tlc-welcome-to-plathville-spoilers-was-barry-plath-married-before\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Daily Soap Dish<\/a>, the woman in question originally attended Minnesota State, then attended Florida State University, the same alma-mater that\u00a0Kim Plath attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/whats-on\/plath-family-ages\">TLC star<\/a>&#8216;s ex-wife now reportedly runs a family law practice in Minnesota. The pair are said to have met at college. After their relationship ended, Kim and Barry met at church and were just friends at first. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Kim never thought she would be in a relationship with Barry, things changed when she claims she heard the voice of God telling her that Barry is the man she is supposed to marry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kim-and-barry-plath-announce-split\">Kim and Barry Plath announce split<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kim and Barry have ended their marriage, as well as discussed what would happen to the children once their divorce is finalized. Amber Plath noted that her mom had once said that the couple would never get divorced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a confessional, Kim noted that they &#8220;still have to figure out who&#8217;s going to be out of the house [\u2026] who is going to stay with the children and live with them.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barry revealed that he has hoped she \u201cwill change\u201d and admitted that he \u201cfeels a little betrayed\u201d. I have bought flowers and bought presents, but I\u2019m still an optimist hoping that she\u2019ll change.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Kim, however, told cameras that she has been \u201churt too much\u201d. The former couple later had ten children: Moriah,\u00a0Ethan, Hosanna, Micah,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/usa\/lydia-plath-boyfriend\">Lydia<\/a>, Isaac, Amber, Cassia, and Mercy.
