KUWTK first aired in 2007, with the first DASH store having opened its doors the year before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flagship DASH store originally opened in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cosmopolitan.com\/entertainment\/celebs\/a19866283\/kardashian-dash-stores-closing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Calabasas, California<\/a> but following the success of the reality series later relocated to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kim, Khlo\u00e9 and Kourtney went on to open two more stores in Miami and New York. An online version of the store also launched in <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/keeping-up-kardashians-dash-stores-first-business-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">2015<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That same year a spin-off series based on the stores&#8217; employees, better known as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt5047494\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">DASH Dolls<\/a>, also aired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/celebrity-news\/the-kardashians\/khloe-kardashian-good-american\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>EXPLAINED:<\/strong> <\/a>Khloe&#8217;s lone shopping experiences when she was &#8216;bigger&#8217; inspired Good American&#8217;s inclusivity<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DASH closed after 12 years<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2018, it was <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/GMA\/Style\/kim-kardashian-announces-closing-dash-stores-weve-busy\/story?id=54609095\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">announced<\/a> that after more than a decade in operation, the stores would be closing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kim announced the closure in a statement on her website, which said they came to the decision amid efforts to balance their work lives and growing families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insider.com\/kardashians-closing-dash-reactions-2018-4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Insider<\/a>, the statement explained: &#8220;We&#8217;ve loved running DASH, but in the last few years, we&#8217;ve all grown so much individually. We&#8217;ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sisters had previously discussed the DASH stores&#8217; future during the 13th season of KUWTK, which aired in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/p6dzvA5Hmgo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">first episode,<\/a> the sisters discussed whether or not to keep the stores open after Kim revealed a major department store wanted to buy DASH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/celebrity-news\/cameron-boyce-death\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CELEBRITY: <\/a><\/strong>Tragic story of Cameron Boyce who died at height of Disney fame<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DASH was not the end of the Kardashian business empires<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By the time DASH shut its doors in 2018, Kim and Khlo\u00e9 had already become known for their solo ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kim launched her own beauty line KKW Beauty in 2017, while Khlo\u00e9 co-founded clothing brand Good American the year <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessoffashion.com\/community\/people\/emma-grede-khloe-kardashian\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">before <\/a>with businesswoman and investor Emma Grede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KKW Beauty is currently <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/style\/kim-kardashian-shutting-down-kkw-beauty-ahead-of-relaunch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">rebranding<\/a> with Kim having announced it would be shutting down in July last year.
