House flipping is\u00a0when<strong> <\/strong>a real estate investor buys houses and sells them for profit. For a house to be considered a \u2018flip\u2019, it must be bought with the intention to quickly resell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/02\/17\/joe-gorga-accused-of-faking-before-and-after-pictures-in-house-flipping-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Page Six<\/a><\/em> put its investigation hat on and alleged there were errors in some of Gorga\u2019s posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 11th, Joe posted a photo of a modern and stylish kitchen he captioned: \u201cAnother flip. This house sold for 759,000.00 #growwithgorga.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, <em>Page Six<\/em> alleges the same image was posted on <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/designdepot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Design Depot\u2019s<\/a><\/em> <em>Instagram<\/em> more than four years ago. It says the image was taken by photographer Nadav Havakook and <em>Page Six<\/em> spoke to him about the photo. Let\u2019s just say he wasn\u2019t too impressed by the revelation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Levy claimed Gorga had nothing to do with the project, including any part of the construction or design process. Levy told <em>Page Six<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I personally designed that kitchen myself and everything else in the house for one of our clients \u2013 who is a developer \u2013 and he sold that house for, I believe, $1.5 million, so there\u2019s no way that house sold for $759,000.<\/p><cite>Ethan Levy, Page Six<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course Twitter <em>had<\/em> to get involved to poke fun at the claims:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/shadypines85\/status\/1229476872955842563?s=21\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Social media manager blamed for mistake<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Gorga\u2019s representatives declined to speak to <em>Page Six<\/em>, Joe has blamed a previous error on his <em>Instagram<\/em> on a social media manager, who has not been named.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Page Six<\/em> opened its investigation after Caley Svensson, of Park Ridge, New Jersey, claimed her friend shared a picture of her house on <em>Instagram<\/em> that Joe had posted. In response, Svensson told the publication:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It\u2019s clearly my house, I messaged [Gorga] on the post to please remove it, but he never responded. I DMed him as well and he never responded either.<\/p><cite>Caley Svensson<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Page Six<\/em> said it confirmed through online property records that Caley and husband Erik Svensson were the owners of the home, which appears to be the same as Joe\u2019s \u201cafter\u201d photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gorga blaming the incident on a social media manager, claiming they \u201cmade a mistake\u201d.
