On December 20th, 2021, HGTV premiered their first episode of design maven, Hilary Farrs’ brand new interior design show, ‘Tough Love’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After years of success on HGTV’s ‘Love It Or List It’ with co-star David Visentin, fans are excited to see her debut in her first solo show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the clue in the name, Tough Love her new show follows Farr helping and rescuing families with issues not only in their homes but in their relationships too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With it having only aired a week ago, fans are already full of questions such as where is the show filmed and will we get to see more of the ‘real’ Hilary as the show progresses?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout the series, Hilary visits many different homes but according to an interview with ‘Love It Or List It’ executive Brian Balthazar,<\/a> the majority of filming takes place in and around Philadelphia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The show follows Farr on her first solo endeavour visiting multiple households across the state and helping them turn their home and personal lives around with a bit of tough love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Certain parts of the filming are done in other areas across the country but the homes and families featured are all based in Philadelphia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Perfectly fitting to the show, the homes receiving Farrs’ blunt, honest but impactful help are located in the ‘City of Brotherly Love.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n
