RHOC first launched in 2006, and following its success, the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Atlanta, Potomac and many more lcoations were launched.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Meghan King Edmonds and Heather Dubrow were all former cast members &#8211; until now. Heather detailed her reasons for leaving RHOC in a statment to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bravotv.com\/the-daily-dish\/heather-dubrow-confirms-leaving-real-housewives-of-orange-county\" target=\"_blank\">Bravo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said that she wanted to spend more time with her family and that she also wanted to &#8220;<em>go in another direction<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heather also said: &#8220;<em>Should I change my mind, I thank Andy Cohen, Evolution and Bravo for telling me that the door is always ope<\/em>n.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/realitytvshrine.com\/bravo\/inside-heather-dubrows-drama-fuelled-acting-career-alongside-rhoc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Read More<\/a>: Inside Heather Dubrow&#8217;s acting career alongside RHOC<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Heather&#8217;s castmates&#8217; response to her departure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While Heather stated her reasons for choosing to leave the show, her castmates and fellow housewives had a few things to say about why they thought she left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2021\/08\/24\/kelly-dodd-claims-heather-dubrow-quit-rhoc-over-demotion\/\" target=\"_blank\">Page Six<\/a>, Kelly Dodd said that Heather left in 2017\u00a0&#8220;<em>because she had too much &#8216;ego&#8217; after being demoted<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cheatsheet.com\/entertainment\/rhoc-tamra-judge-claims-heather-dubrow-really-left-the-show-for-this-personal-reason.html\/\" target=\"_blank\">Showbiz Cheatsheet<\/a> reported in 2020 that Tamra Judge also thought that Heather left for personal reasons. According to Tamra, the show wasn&#8217;t the same following Heather&#8217;s departure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said on the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/shows.acast.com\/behind-the-velvet-rope-withdavidyontef\/episodes\/tamra-judge-part-two\"><em>Behind the Velvet Rope<\/em>\u00a0podcast<\/a>: &#8220;<em>I think it was a personal thing, I really do. I think it was a personal conflict with an executive at Bravo<\/em>.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What did Heather do after RHOC?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While Heather has taken a break from RHOC for the past four years, it appears, from her Instagram page, that she&#8217;s been spending lots of quality time with her family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heather is married to plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow and together they have four children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heather has a podcast &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/music.amazon.com\/podcasts\/0e96aa69-99fd-495e-8443-45eadc1271a1\/heather-dubrow's-world\">Heather Dubrow&#8217;s World<\/a>&#8216; and she also had an extensive acting career. The RHOC star has likely been doing a lot of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bustle.com\/p\/whats-heather-dubrow-doing-after-the-real-housewives-of-orange-county-she-has-plenty-of-projects-in-the-works-69105\">home renovation<\/a> in her time away.
