He captioned it, &#8220;\ud83d\udc40,&#8221; and included the link, which investigates whether James was the one in Hayden&#8217;s yacht story.<\/p>\n<p>In the article titled &#8220;Hayden Panettiere and James Blunt \u2013 An Internet Lynching,&#8221; Dean comes to the conclusion that no, it was not James on the boat.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"qme\">\ud83d\udc40<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/5CVlnquNty\">https:\/\/t.co\/5CVlnquNty<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 James Blunt (@JamesBlunt) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JamesBlunt\/status\/2091903950974746683?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 24, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Guys, it only takes the smallest of AI searches to find out that in May 2009, when the pictures of Blunt and Panettiere were taken, she was 19, almost 20,&#8221; Dean writes. &#8220;So, if the incident happened when she was 18, Blunt\u2019s not your guy to start with.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dean also says that Hayden claimed that she hadn&#8217;t met the man before the incident which isn&#8217;t in line with Hayden and James&#8217; relationship: &#8220;And as she says she hadn\u2019t met the man before the incident, and that she fled the boat immediately after, it takes nothing to work out that the cabin incident was the first and last time she met the man. font-weight: normal; line-height: 17px; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DYk2Rj8D8S3\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A post shared by Hayden Panettiere (@haydenpanettiere)<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>During her appearance on the Jay Shetty podcast, Hayden claimed she was on a boat with friends when she was \u201cled by somebody that I had grown to trust and see as a protector and somebody who had my back\u201d down the stairs into a \u201cvery small\u201d room.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe physically put me in the bed next to this undressed man who was very famous,\u201d she remembered of the incident, adding that for the unnamed male celebrity \u201c[it was] like this was just an average day for him and this is something that happens all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hayden said she went into survival mode and pulled out \u201cthat lion in me, that fire in me.\u201d She added: \u201cMy hair stood on end, and I became ferocious,\u201d she noted. \u201cI was like, \u2018This is not happening.\u2019\u201d As they were on a boat out on the water, she was trapped with the woman.<\/p>\n<p>Because of Hayden\u2019s former friendship with Diana, there were baseless rumours that she was the woman on the boat, and that the man on it was James Blunt, which was also speculation.
