Although it is up to the discretion of the production company, Big Brother rules clearly state that housemates would be evicted should they:<\/p>\n
Behave in a way that could cause serious offence to either their fellow housemates or members of the viewing public (including serious offence based on the grounds of age, disability, gender, race, religion, beliefs or sexual orientation).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Why Was Lewis Removed From Big Brother?<\/h3>\n
Lewis used “unaccapetable language” during a conversation with fellow housemate Cameron Cole.<\/p>\n
Initially, reports surfaced explaining that the pair were discussing their time on the show when Lewis made a reference to Auschwitz.<\/p>\n
At the time, Lewis said in the Diary Room:<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not ashamed because I didn’t try to offend anyone – it was a slip of the tongue. My misuse of certain phrases and certain words has blown up in my face.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
It was thought that Lewis had simply mentioned the word “Auschwitz” during the conversation, which caused an uproar on social media as people accused Big Brother of overreacting.<\/p>\n
However, it turns out that it was a whole dialogue and not just a simple slip of the tongue.<\/p>\n
